As August comes to a close, I suddenly feel very rushed to put together a September TBR. I honestly do not know where the time went this month, and I did not accomplish my reading goals. I read two books that are absolutely incredible, a couple that were lukewarm for me ... and Midnight Sun is still sitting on my nightstand at Chapter 3 ... just sitting there in the dark and watching me sleep.
But it's time to brush all of that off and look forward! I am pretty sure I am getting overly ambitious with the books I'd like to read in September; I'm still editing The Forgotten, writing Awakened in Stone, I'm supposed to be outlining my nano reverse harem project, and now I have a new holiday novella noodling in the back of my mind. Add the fact that we're busier than usual at my day job, and I'm not sure how much reading I will get done.
Plus, I like to leave myself open to "mood reading" and not being beholden to a TBR. So I'm going to list far more books than I could possibly finish.
Especially since I'm planning to participate in two read-a-thons this month:
~ Latinx-a-thon (https://twitter.com/latinxathon/status/1295756628768292864) from 9/15 - 9/24 to celebrate Latinx Heritage Month
~ Queer Lit Weekend Readathon (https://twitter.com/queer_lit) from 9/26 to 9/27
So, here it is! The (probably too ambitious) September TBR:
